This page covers the installation method for the 1.5-inch lens.

Note: The HEXA RF 1.5-inch focus lens is designed for engraving, producing finer results than the standard focus lens. This add-on is not applicable for cutting. Thus, please use the standard focus lens for cutting purposes. |
Step 1
Lower the bed to the bottom by pressing the lowering button on the panel or turning the knob counterclockwise manually.

Step 2
Disassemble the laser nozzle and remove the current lens.
Step 3
Prepare the 1.5-inch lens add-on.
Step 4
Reassemble the nozzle with the 1.5-inch lens.
- Ensure the lens is in the order as the photo below.
- Ensure that the curved/convex side of the lens is facing up.
(A tip to determine the curved side is that it should reflect your whole face when you look at it.) - Ensure that the air hose is not bent.
Explanation
By default, the focus lens will be at the top, and the focus lens will be 4mm, meaning the distance between the nozzle tip and the surface of the material will be 4 mm.
Determine the Order of the Focus Mode Focus Mode: High-Precision Focus Block Lens Ring Nozzle There will be two sides on the lens. The curved/convex side will be facing up when installing.

Step 5
Go to "Hardware Settings" to choose the default focus mode.
Machine >> Hardware Settings >> Next page >> Focus Mode >> Choose the "Close Focus" (Default)
(The installation will be done after this step.)
