Troubleshooting: Missing steps / Layers shifted

Sometimes the prints have layers shifting as the following picture shows. 

(example incoming!)

This problem is caused by friction preventing motor from driving the toolhead to the correct position. To solve this, try these steps.

1. Lubricate the rods and the bulb end with metal lubrication.

2. Clean the printing bed (metal plate) and  make sure it is placed correctly on the
    base.

3. Lower the printing speed. If the speed is too high, motor may have trouble
    keeping up and thus layers will be shifted.
