Before operating the equipment, it is essential to thoroughly review and be aware of all safety protocols and procedures. Adhere strictly to all safety instructions and verify that the equipment has been assembled correctly and is in proper working order.
⚠︎ Operating Principles
- Before using the machine, check it for any damage. Do not operate it if you find any damage or defects.
- Make sure the workspace is clean and flat.
- Do not disassemble the machine or change its structure without authorization. Also, do not modify or decompile its operating system.
- Do not leave the machine unattended during operation. Pay attention to its proper function.
- Keep the machine clean. Residues and chips accumulated during cutting and engraving can be dangerous and may cause a fire. Regularly clean the chips and residues from inside the work area.
⚠︎ Laser Safety
Under normal circumstances, the laser is blocked by the device body and protective enclosure during operation. Before using the machine to process an object, ensure the protective enclosure fully covers the object. If the protective enclosure cannot fully cover the object, you must wear safety goggles that can shield your eyes from 1064 nm laser beams to prevent harming people.
Safety precautions:
- Do not operate the machine when any part is removed. Removing any part may expose the laser system and damage the machine.
- Do not engrave or cut any material containing PVC or vinyl. These materials and other materials containing chlorine/chloride can generate corrosive vapor that is extremely harmful to the human body and can damage the device. Any damage caused by engraving or cutting any material containing PVC or vinyl is not covered by the Company's warranty.
- Do not engrave or cut any unknown materials. Vaporization or melting of many materials, including but not limited to PVC and polycarbonate, may release harmful smoke.
- Do not leave the device unattended during operation. Pay attention to whether it is working properly.
⚠︎ Fire Safety
The device uses a high-density laser beam to heat and vaporize the material without burning it. However, most materials are flammable and can ignite, potentially causing a fire that can damage the device and its surroundings. It has been observed that vector cutting with a laser is more likely to result in an open flame.
Warnings and Suggestions:
- Do not leave the machine unattended while it is working. If the machine operates with incorrect settings and is left unattended for a long time, or if a mechanical or electrical fault occurs, it may cause a fire.
- Ensure the area around the machine is clean and free from cluttered, flammable materials, explosives, or volatile solvents such as acetone, alcohol, or gasoline.
- Keep a fire extinguisher nearby and regularly maintain and inspect it.
- When the machine cuts or engraves flammable materials at low speed and high power, the materials may ignite and create an open flame. If this happens, please stop the process immediately.
