| 23 | White Ball Wheel | This is the spare for the white ball wheels that are built-in on the rails. | 3pcs |
Step A1
Install the passthrough and open bottom add-on, referring to the guide below.
(Ensure your focus lens is set up as the default that gives a focus distance of 4 mm.)
Step A2
Turn off the machine and remove the power cord.
Step A3
Find the main extrusion (the one with a belt) and remove the silver connecting blocks.
Step A4
Release the belt and find its long side.
Loosen the belt retainer by using the small Allen key.
| Short Side of Belt | Long Side of Belt |
Meanwhile, please tighten the belt retainer on the short side.
Step A5
Insert the main extrusion into the pulley with the long side of the belt going in first.
Hook the belt upward onto the gear and guide it downward, forming a peak shape.
It is essential to insert it in this direction, ensuring that the long side of the belt remains on the same side as the feeder's flat surface.
Step A6
Use the two silver connecting blocks that were previously removed. Each block has four screws. Secure two screws on the main extrusion and two on the extension extrusion to achieve a firm clamping effect.
(Note: Ensure the extension extrusion has white wheels, as the wheels are for the feeders to move. The connecting blocks have to be on the same side of the white wheels and at the bottom of the white wheels.)
Depending on the length of your material, decide whether to install more extension aluminum extrusions.
Step A7
Install the clamp at the short side of the belt. The silver magnets have to be facing up, as the same facing side of the white wheels.
Step A8
Raise the machine with materials or anything that has a thickness of 12mm - 15mm.
Step A9
Install the feeder into the machine with the clamp.
The clamp will go for a piece of metal sheet, and tighten the screws to make it clamp securely.
Please ensure the belt is well hooked on the pulley. If not, please remove the belt retainer and re-insert the feeder again.
Step A10
Fix the belt at the long side with the belt retainer that was removed earlier.
(Please ensure the belt is tight before fixing it.)
Please ensure the belt is well hooked on the pulley. If not, please remove the belt retainer and re-insert the feeder.
Step A11 (Optional)
If your material is very long and it will fall off after passing through the back of the machine, please add another extension extrusion. If your material is rather short, please skip this step.
Attach the magnet to one of the extrusion and install the extension feet.
Use the magnet to attach the extrusion to the machine.
Step A12
Find the cable.
Make it pass through the hole close to the Y-limit switch.
Plug the cable into the socket at the back.
Find the transfer box and plug the other side of the cable into the box.
Place the box in the bottom-left corner of the machine.
Step A13
Cut off the cable tie if there is any on the cable of the feeder.
The cable will go through a hole at the bottom left corner of the machine.
Plug the feeder cable into the box.
Place the box back.
Step A14
Remove the materials that were used to raise the machine.
Step A15
Place the material on the feeder, tighten the finger screws to fix the material firmly, and push the material into the machine.
Please push the material til the bottom plate is covered to avoid hitting the edge if there is a gap or difference between the plate and the opening.
Step A16
Find the fixture. This tool is used to fix the material to prevent it from going off its direction.
Place the fixture on both sides of the material.
You can use the bottom cover's gap to align the material to be straight.
Step A17
Turn on the machine.
Step A18
Ensure your focus lens is set up as the default that gives a focus distance of 4 mm.
If you do not know how to check, please refer to this article.
By default, the focus lens will be at the top, and the focus lens will be 4mm, meaning the distance between the nozzle tip and the surface of the material will have a distance of 4mm.
Step A19
Perform manual focus using the tool. The tip of the tool has a thickness of 4mm, and we will use it to focus. (If your tool is lost, you can use the instructions to cut a new one yourself.)
Step A20
Move the laser head to the area you want to engrave or cut and close the door.
Step A21
Please ensure you have the following software and firmware versions to use the rotary function.
|
Beam Studio Version 2.5.0 or above (Guide) |
The firmware version 6.0.9 or above. (Guide) |
|
|
Step A22
- Launch Beam Studio and open the Document Settings.
- Set the Start Position to Current Position and make it top-left.
-
Enable the Auto Feeder function and input the length of your material (approximately).
Step A23
Import or create a file.
Set the correct parameters based on your material.
Step A24
Using "Framing" to preview the engraving path.
Step A25
Start the task.
Step A26
Check the result.
