Description
This article will guide you on how to start engraving using the Chuck Rotary and Roller Rotary.
It is recommended that you read the FLUX Chuck Rotary Manual before your first engraving.

Note: Before starting to engrave, please confirm that your Beam Studio version is 2.5.2 or higher, and use the frame preview function to confirm that the engraving range and dimensions are correct. (Please refer to Step 12) |
Step 1
Please refer to the following tutorial to install the 110x110 or 150x150 F-theta lens.
If you like to use a 220x220 field lens for engraving, please refer to this tutorial for settings.

Step 2
Please ensure you have installed Beam Studio software version V2.5.2-beta or above to use the rotary function.

Step 3
Please ensure the machine is powered off.
Find the connection cable from the package and plug it into the connection port on the left side of the machine and the rotary.
ⓘ If your Promark is a Safety+ version, please plug the rotary cable into the extension board inside the manual door.
Step 4
Turn on the machine's power.
Step 5
Install the jaws on the rotary device according to the material you will be using.
For jaw installation instructions, please refer to the FLUX Chuck Rotary Manual.
(*It is recommended to practice and test with scrap materials for the first use.)
Step 6
Use the rotary device to clamp the material and adjust it to be level.
(Please refer to FLUX Chuck Rotary Manual to learn how to clamp materials of different shapes.)
Step 7
Measure the distance between the bottom edge of the F-theta lens and the top of the material, and adjust it to the appropriate focal length for your lens.
Step 8
Measure the diameter or circumference of the material. (*It is recommended to practice and test with scrap materials for the first use.)
Step 9
In the document settings, set the working area with the F-theta lens you use. Enable the rotary and click the gear icon on the right to enter the rotary settings.

Step 10
Set the design to be engraved in the Beam Studio software and move it to the center of the blue line (the blue line represents the rotary ).
Step 11
Click the frame preview function in the upper right corner of the software and align the with the center of the rotary .
Step 12
Click the option to the right of the frame preview function in the upper right corner to confirm if the engraving area is correct.
⚠︎ Note: If you find that your engraving range or size is abnormal (shortened or elongated), please refer to the video below to adjust the rotation multiplier of the rotary .

Send the job and check the engraving result.
