2-5 Start Engraving

⚠︎ Before starting the engraving, please ensure you have performed Camera Calibration.

Step 1 - Focusing

Place the material in the top left corner of the machine. Move the laser head over the material, then long-press the autofocus button "AF" on the machine panel until the focus prompt screen appears. Lower the focus probe and press "Focus". Wait for the laser head to touch the material and rise back up, which completes the focusing process. Retract the probe and close the door cover. Please ensure the focus is correct before every engraving. (The example video features Beambox II)

Step 2 - Import the Engraving Test File

Click on "Menu" > "File" > "Examples" > "HEXA RF Example".

Step 3 - Preview the Engraving Position

The machine provides two ways to preview the engraving position:

3-1 Click the "Camera" icon in the top left corner to preview. Select all elements of the design file and drag them to the appropriate position.

3-2 Move the laser head over the material, click the "Framing" icon in the top right corner, and preview the working area using the red light from the laser head. (The example video features Beambox II)

Step 4 - Send the File

Exit the camera preview mode, drag the design file to the desired engraving position, and click "GO" in the top right corner to send the file.

Step 5 - Engraving Result

⚠︎ If the engraving result is blurry, unclear, or too light: Please first check if the focus is correct. If the focus is correct, please refer to Material Cannot Be Cut Through for further troubleshooting.
