Raft
Raft is an essential function when printing. We recommend always using it.
When raft option is used, FLUX Studio will automatically produce a thin base under the model. The reason why the raft is essential is that with it the model can adhere to the base plate better, and thus reduce the chance of print distortion.

Support
When support option is turned on, FLUX Studio can automatically generate a loose supporting structure under places which tilting angle exceeds the designated value.
Under most condition, support is not recommended to use since after removing it it will inevitably leave marks on the print, and FLUX can handle overhang quite well so support is not needed.
But if the print has places that hang in the air, such as the chin of a bust, you will need the support to prevent it from dropping off.

I have had successful prints without the raft by using a high tack material on the print bed.
It's less messy than the glue and it's easier to remove the prints. I haven't found the perfect material yet, but most of the solutions are cheap, so I'll try a couple and report back here.
