Settings do not persist

Possible causes:

• Abnormal installation process
• The config folder is locked

Solutions:

Windows

1. End all Beam Studio process:
   
   1. On your Windows 10 PC, open the Start Menu and go to the Windows System shortcuts folder. There, you're going to find a Command Prompt shortcut: click or tap on it to open CMD.
   2. Enter taskkill /f /im "Beam Studio.exe"
2. Go to C:\Users\{user name}\AppData\Roaming\Beam Studio\Local Storage folder
3. Delete everything inside
4. Open Beam Studio again

Mac

1. End Beam Studio
2. Go to the /Users/{user name}/Library/Application Support/Beam Studio/Local Storage folder
3. Delete everything inside
4. Open Beam Studio again
