Possible causes:
Step 1
Test if there's air blowing out from the laser nozzle.
- Enter the Maintain mode on the panel and enable the air pump.
- Use your hand or a piece of paper to test if there's air blowing out from the laser nozzle.
Determine the test result and the next action to take.
Step 1.1
Remove the side cover to check or re-connect the two air pump wire pins and the air hose connected to the top of the air pump.
- Turn off the machine. Remove the side cover by unscrewing these T8 screws and unplug the two USB extensions. (Refer to the diagram if your PCB board is not the same as the photo.)
- Check or re-connect the two air pump wire pins.
- Check the air hose on the air pump.
- Check the air hose on the laser nozzle. (The shield has to be removed.)
- Turn on the machine and enable the air pump to test whether air is blowing out from the laser nozzle.
Determine the test result and the next action to take.
Step 1.2
Reset the machine to the factory and test if there's air blowing out from the laser nozzle.
Determine the test result and the next action to take.
Step 1.3
Reflash the SD card and test if there's air blowing out from the laser nozzle.
5-24 HEXA - Reflashing SD Card
Determine the test result and the next action to take.
Step 1.4
Enable the airflow value on the panel and move the laser head around the work area to see if the value changes while moving the laser head.
Determine the test result and the next action to take.
Step 1.5
Run a task and see if the error pops up.
Determine the test result and the next action to take.
Step 2
Enable the airflow value on the panel and move the laser head around the work area to see if the value changes while moving the laser head.
Determine the test result and the next action to take.
Step 2.1
Run a task and see if the error pops up.
Determine the test result and the next action to take.
Step 2.2
Reconnect the 3-way transparent tube (T-joint). Run a task and see if the error pops up.
- Turn off the machine. Remove the side cover by unscrewing these T8 screws and unplug the two USB extensions. (Refer to the diagram if your PCB board is not the same as the photo.)
- Reconnect the 3-way transparent tube (T-joint).
- Run a task and see if the error pops up.
Determine the test result and the next action to take.
Step 2.3
Reflash the SD card and run a task to see if the error pops up.
5-24 HEXA - Reflashing SD Card
Determine the test result and the next action to take.
Step 3
Reconnect the 3-way transparent tube (T-joint) and check the airflow value.
- Turn off the machine. Remove the side cover by unscrewing these T8 screws and unplug the two USB extensions. (Refer to the diagram if your PCB board is not the same as the photo.)
- Reconnect the 3-way transparent tube (T-joint).
- Move the laser head around and check the airflow value.
Determine the test result and the next action to take.
Step 3.1
Check if there's any leakage or damage to the air hose and the 3-way transparent tube.
- Check the air hose on the laser nozzle. (The shield has to be removed.)
- Check the air hose on the air pump.
- Check the 3-way transparent tube.
- Check other the path of the air hose.
The arrangement of the air hose overview
The back of the machine can check a section of the air hose
At the air pump side, a section of the air hose can be checked
Determine the test result and the next action to take.
Step 3.2
Reflash the SD card and see if the airflow value becomes normal.
5-24 HEXA - Reflashing SD Card
Determine the test result and the next action to take.
Step 3.3
Run a task and see if the error pops up.
Determine the test result and the next action to take.
Step 4
Open the side cover and check the black air hose to see if it's bent somewhere.
- Turn off the machine. Remove the side cover by unscrewing these T8 screws and unplug the two USB extensions. (Refer to the diagram if your PCB board is not the same as the photo.)
- Check if the air hose is bent somewhere.
Step 4.1
Try to straighten the bent section of the air hose and test the airflow value.
Don't cut it. The purpose here is only to apply force in order to straighten the hose.
Determine the test result and the next action to take.
Step 4.2
Run a task and see if the error pops up.
Determine the test result and the next action to take.
Step 4.3
Reflash the SD card and run a task to see if the error pops up.
5-24 HEXA - Reflashing SD Card
Determine the test result and the next action to take.
Step 5
Reflash the SD card and check the airflow value.
5-24 HEXA - Reflashing SD Card
Determine the test result and the next action to take.
Step 5.1
