To reduce the time the laser head spends moving through blank areas, the system will automatically detect objects that are with lower speed and farther apart then perform segmented engraving. "Segmented Engraving" is enabled by default.
When Segmented Engraving is enabled, for example, with the letters A, B, and C, the laser head may first engrave A completely, then B, and finally C
When 'Segmented Engraving' is disabled, the laser head will engrave overlapping areas along the Y-axis simultaneously. This means it will engrave parts of A and B at the same time, as well as parts of B and C.
When the object spacing is larger, the working time may be longer than when segmented engraving is enabled.
In rotary mode, “Segmented Engraving” is always disabled by default to prevent excessive back-and-forth movement of the rotary.
