Step 1
Remove the module and unplug the three cables indicated in the picture below.
Step 2
Detach the air hose with the L-shape joint from the module seat.
Step 3
Snip off the cable tie that holds the 20-pin cable at the back of the module seat.
Step 4
Unscrew these two screws to remove the metal base.
Step 4.1
Remove the metal base by lifting the machine a little and taking out the base directly.
Step 5
Remove the top frame of the module seat. (1.5mm hex screw * 4 pcs)
Step 6
Remove the two black stickers on the top of the shafts.
If your machine does not have the stickers like the photo below, please skip to Step 8.
Step 7
Turn the stud in the middle clockwise to remove the entire bracket with the Z-axis motor.
Step 8
Remove the two 2mm hex screws. The autofocus probe and probe board can then be removed entirely.
Step 9
Remove the four 1.5mm hex screws. The motor on the module can be removed from the holder.
Step 10
Move the cable upward and remove the screws of the module switch board.
Step 11
Remove the cable from the module switch board and replace the board or cable that you need.
Step 12
Insert the cable back and pass through the module.
Screw the screws back to fix the module switch board.
Insert the cable into the cable clip.
Step 13
Reattach the Z-axis motor and ensure the wiring is fastened inside the retaining clips.
Screw the four 1.5mm hex screws.
Step 14
Hold the bracket in place and rotate the stud in the middle counter-clockwise to install the bracket with the Z-axis motor.
Step 15
Re-install the top frame of the module seat. (1.5mm hex screw * 4 pcs)
Step 16
Place the base on a table, ensuring that the tenons protrude slightly from the tabletop.
Step 16.1
Lift the machine at a slight angle to align the mortises on the front end of the machine with the tenons on the base. Insert the tenons, and then place the machine on the tabletop.
Step 16.2
Screw back these screws to fix the base.
Step 17
Re-install the air hose.
Step 18
Replug these cables.
