Assembly
Install the Vent Hose
1. Using a Phillips screwdriver, loosen the vent hose clamp on the vent hole cover and remove the cover.
2. Remove the cushioning material from inside the vent hose.
3. Insert the clamp onto the large end of the vent hose hole, and attach it to the exhaust fan outlet at the rear of the machine.
4. Adjust the clamp’s tightness and fasten it onto the exhaust fan outlet.
5. Direct the open end of the vent hose outside the window with an inline fan, or connect it to a smoke purifier.
Unpack the Galvo Arm
1. Remove four screws beside the galvo arm.
2. Remove the upper cushioning material from the galvo arm.
Power and Connection Setup
⚠ Notice: DO NOT use the Type-C USB port on the machine, as it may cause errors with your device.
1. Plug the power cord into the machine’s AC inlet and a grounded wall outlet.
2. Insert the USB‑B end of the connection cable into the machine and the USB‑A end into your computer.
3. (Optional step) Connect the camera cable by plugging its USB‑A connector into the machine’s Camera port and the other USB‑A connector into the computer.
4. Use the supplied Laser safety key to unlock the machine by turning the key switch clockwise.
5. Press the rear red power switch to turn on the machine.
*If the red power switch does not activate the machine, check whether the emergency‑stop button on the right side of the control panel is engaged. If it is, rotate it clockwise toward the white arrow to release it.
1. Press the “Up” button to raise the galvo arm.
2. Remove the cushioning material beneath the galvo arm.
3. Remove the field lens cover and keep it in the accessory box.
