Note:
Re-flashing the system is a method to resolve issues such as system boot failure or black screens.
Re-flashing the system requires a Windows PC or laptop.
It is recommended that you contact the official support team before performing this operation.
Required Tools:
1. A computer running the Windows operating system.
2. USB cable (included in the accessory box).
3. T8 Torx screwdriver
4. Micro-USB cable (if the original USB cable is lost, you can prepare your own)
5. Phillips screwdriver (Optional)

Step 1 - Download Data from HEXA RF
⚠︎ If your machine cannot boot normally or connect to the computer, please skip this step and perform Advanced Camera Calibration after the flashing is complete.
- Update the firmware to version 6.0.7 or later.
- Update Beam Studio to version 2.3.1 or later.
- Select "Machine → Machine Name → Camera Calibration Data → Download Data".
The downloaded file will be in .zip format and named after your machine.
For example, HEXA RF (Timothy).zip.
Step 2 - Install Drivers and Launch Reflash Software
After downloading the drivers and reflash software, please install and launch them.
Step 3 - Connect USB Cable
Turn OFF the machine and connect the USB cable to the computer.
Step 4 - Open Machine Side Cover and Locate RK Board

Turn off the machine and use a T8 Torx screwdriver to open the side cover.

As shown in the video, the RK board is located at the top inside the chassis. Locate the black button on the RK board.
Step 5 - Confirm Connection
The following is a sequence of actions:
- Press and hold the black button on the RK board.
- Turn on the machine.
- Check if the reflash software on the computer displays "Found One Loader Device."
⚠︎ Do not release the button until the machine is detected.
Check the software. The text at the bottom should change from "No Devices Found" to "Found One LOADER Device."
This indicates the machine has entered "Flashing Mode," and you can release the button.

Step 5.1 - Micro-USB Connection Method

First, use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the RK board. (Please refer to the video)

Connect the Micro-USB cable to the RK board. The slot is next to the black button.

Once connected, hold down the black button, connect the USB-A end to the computer, and then turn on the machine. The computer will detect it automatically, as shown in the video.
Step 6 - Start Reflashing
Extract the downloaded firmware.
- Select the firmware and start the reflash process.
Step 7 - Check Reflashing Status
When the status on the right shows "Reset Device Success," it means the reflash is complete.
If the status does not show "Reset Device Success," it may indicate a failed reflash. Please Contact Customer Service and attach a screenshot of the software.
Step 8 - Reflash Successful
After the process is complete, the machine will restart. The lights and screen will turn off first.
After a few minutes, the lights and screen will turn back on.
The screen will display "Initializing" for about 3 to 5 minutes before entering the main menu.
Step 9 - Update Firmware
Once you reach the main page, the reflash process is complete.
Please refer to the following guides to connect to Wi-Fi and update the firmware to the latest version.
Step 10
Turn off the machine, remove the USB-B or Micro-USB cable, and screw the four screws of the RK board back on.
(If you did not remove the RK board, skip this step and proceed directly to Step 11.)
Step 11
Reinstall the side cover.
Step 12 - Upload Data
Turn on the machine, launch Beam Studio 2.3.1 or later, and select "Machine → Machine Name → Camera Calibration Data → Upload Data → Select Step 1."
Step 13 - Calibrate Camera
Please Calibrate Camera again to obtain an accurate preview.
