4-6 Advanced Camera Calibration

Description

This article will guide you through the advanced camera calibration process.
 

When Advanced Camera Calibration Is Required
1. When the system has been reflashed.
2. When the camera module has been replaced or moved.

Step 1 - Confirm the Beam Studio and Firmware Versions

Required software version: Beam Studio 2.7.1 or later

Required firmware version: 5.3.12 or later

Step 2 - Preparation

Required materials:

1. A4 white paper (self-provided)
2. Masking tape (self-provided)
3. 6 mm or 20 mm or thicker wood board (self-provided)
4. Triangular blade strip (included in the accessory box)
5. Calibration checkerboard (download the calibration checkerboard through this link and print itCalibration Checkerboard onto another sheet of A4 white paper.)
   It is recommended to attach the checkerboard to a flat and hard surface (such as a wood board or acrylic board) to prevent calibration failure caused by an uneven surface.

⚠︎ If an extension base is installed, place the honeycomb bed on the topmost level.
