Description
This article explains the stamp-making feature in Beam Studio. Please note that this feature requires version 2.5.9 or later.
Step 1 - Select Stamp Parameters (for versions below 2.5.9)
Step 1 - Select Stamp Parameters (for versions above 2.5.9)
The stamp maker feature only works with image, so please select an image and then choose "Stamp Maker" from the Object Panel on the right.
If your file is a vector, you can use the "Convert to Image" function to turn it into a bitmap.
Tip: If your image contains a background or many gradients, we recommend disabling the gradients before creating the stamp for better beveling results.
Parameter Description
Invert : Swaps black and white areas to change the appearance of the stamp.
FHorizontal lip : Commonly used for text to ensure it appears correctly after engraving.
Bevel Radius: Determines the length of the beveled edge. For thin lines, setting a bevel radius is recommended to prevent weak bevel edges from breaking easily.
Step 2 - Set Engraving Parameters
After finishing the stamp settings, the gradient of the image will be automatically enabled to preserve the bevel, and the depth mode will also be automatically activated to facilitate bevel engraving.
It is recommended to increase the engraving passes to 4–5 times when making stamps to achieve enough depth for the raised areas.
Step 3 - Cut
After engraving, cut out the stamp pad, clean off the engraving debris with a small brush or air gun, and then wash it with water.
Step 4 - Complete
Attach a support or handle to the back of the rubber stamp to complete the assembly.
