The rotary warp function adjusts the proportions of your artwork to ensure that the final design appears proportional when engraving on a tapered object.
There are two inputs needed: Diameter A and Diameter B. You can also measure the circumference with a tape measure and input the value. The following example uses the diameter.
Diameter A refers to the left side of the object, while Diameter B refers to the right side of the object.
Please first mark the expected engraving location of the design on the object, then measure the diameters of the object at the top and bottom ends of the design.
Using the following workpiece and artwork position as example:
Before engraving, first measure the Diameter A:
Then measure the Diameter B of the artwork :
Enter the values for Diameter A and B in the Rotary Warped modal, then click "Warp" to save the changes.
Note: This function only support bitmap image at this moment.
