Auto Shrink

Description

This article explains the auto-shrink function for engraving objects, including how to operate and configure it in Beam Studio.

Step 1 - Download and Install Beam Studio

This function is available in Beam Studio v2.5.6-alpha or later.

Step 2 - Create Engraving Objects and turn on Auto Shrink function

The Auto Shrink function only supports engraving objects with a resolution of 250 DPI or above, including non-gradient bitmap images and filled paths. It does not support pure paths.

Open the Document Settings window, make sure the DPI is set to 250 or above, then enable the "Auto Shrink" function and start the job.

Step 3 - Check the engraving result

Note: If the paths in the original design are too thin, they may disappear after enabling Auto Shrink. Please test before engraving.

This function is not available for Promark machines.
