beamo II - 2W IR Infrared Laser Add-on - Unboxing and Installation

Description

This article provides a step-by-step guide to installing the beamo II 2W IR Infrared Laser Add-on.
Please follow the instructions below for the installation process.

Unboxing:

Step 1

Remove the honeycomb.

Step 2

Lower the laser head to the bottom, so the three screws can be reached.

Step 3

Turn off the machine and remove the three T8 screws.

Step 4

• Prepare and install the Module Seat with the T8 Screws that come with the machine
  

• The three holes circled in red will be aligned with the three holes on the laser head..

Step 5

Prepare and install the 2W IR Infrared Laser Module. 
The three shafts on the 2W module will be inserted into the holes on the module seat.

Step 6

• Prepare and connect the cable that comes with the machine.
  

• Plug the cable into the socket on the X-axis gantry.
  

• Make the other side of the cable go underneath the flat cable.
  

• Plug the other side of the cable into the module. The hardware installation is now finished.
  

Step 7

Turn on the machine and place one test material in the center of the working bed.

Step 8

Perform auto-focus on the surface of the test material.
After focusing, close the door cover.

Step 9

Launch Beam Sutido, connect to your machine, and enable the 2W IR Infrared Laser in Document Settings

Step 10

Choose the 2W module in the Parameter Settings and set the correct power and speed.
(For the test material, the preset Black Acrylic Engraving will be recommended.)

Step 11

Perform camera preview.

Step 12

Create a test text or import your own design and place the file on the test material.

Step 13

Start the task.

Step 14

Check the result.
