Step 1
Turn off the machine, and remove the power cord.
Step 2
Remove the front metal cover. (T8 torx screw * 10 pcs.)
Step 3
Remove the back metal cover.
Step 4
Unplug the cables on the laser PSU.
Step 5
- Remove the four screws on the laser power supply.
Step 6
Remove the laser PSU and place it aside temporarily.
(The cable of the PSU is still connected to the laser tube at the moment.)
Step 7
Unmount the water pump to detach the cable of the PSU from the laser tube, and the laser PSU can then be removed from the system.
Step 8
Connect the new PSU's cable to the laser tube and mount the water pump back to its position.
Step 9
There is a voltage switch for 115V or 230V. Please switch to the correct voltage that suits your environment. (For example, the US is using 110V, so 115V will be switched to. The UK is using 230V, so 230V will be switched to.)
Place the laser PSU in its position.
Step 10
Fix the PSU with the four screws.
Step 11
Plug the cables into the laser PSU.
Step 12
Plug the Type-C cable into the mainboard. Make sure the white dot on the cable is facing downward.
Step 13
Reinstall the back metal cover.
Step 14
Reinstall the front metal cover. Ensure the Type-C cable's white dot is facing up, as in the video.
