Step 1
Turn off the machine, and remove the power cord.
Step 2
Remove the back metal cover.
Step 3
Remove the foam and detach the cables of the laser tueb and the laser PSU.
Step 4
Remove the laser tube's holders.
Step 5
Disconnect the grounding cable of the laser tube.
Step 6
Place the rags underneath the laser tube on both sides.
Step 7
Remove the water hose clamp from the high-pressure side.
Make sure the water hose plug is ready so it can be inserted immediately after the hose is detached.
Step 8
Remove the water hose clamp from the low-pressure side.
Make sure the water hose plug is ready so it can be inserted immediately after the hose is detached.
Step 9
Prepare a bucket in advance to drain the water from the laser tube.
The laser tube can then be removed, and the water will be drained.
Step 10
Place the new laser tube on the machine and connect the grounding cable to the terminal.
(The grounding cable has to be on the same side as the other one.)
Step 11
From the high-pressure side, remove the hose plug and connect the water hose to the laser tube.
Step 12
From the low-pressure side, remove the hose plug and connect the water hose to the laser tube.
Step 13
Fix the laser tube in place. Please note these two points:
- The distance between the laser tube's nozzle and the first mirror seat will be around 1.5cm (one finger).
- There are two short water hoses on both sides of the laser tube; they have to be horizontal.
Step 14
Place the foam back and connect the cables between the laser tube and the laser PSU.
Step 15
Add water to the system.

After adding the water, please align the optical path.
