Step 1
Turn off the machine, and remove the power cord.
Step 2
Remove the screws to unmount the power socket.
Step 3
Take photos to record the position of the wires so you won't forget when you are installing the new power socket.
- The Red wire should go to "L".
- The Blue wire should go to "N".
- The Green/Yellow wire should go to "G".
Step 4
Remove the wires from the power socket, and the power socket can be removed from the system.
(Some wires require the cutting pliers. The key is to push the clip in the middle so it won't get stuck with the pins of the power socket.)
Step 5
Wrap the wires with the electrical tape.
Step 6
Connect the wires to the new power socket by pressing the wires to ensure a secure connection.
(Please refer to the photo you've taken in Step 3 for the position of the wires.)
Step 7
Mount the power socket on the machine.
