beamo II - Key Switch Replacement

Step 1

Turn off the machine, and remove the power cord.

Step 2

Remove the front metal cover. (T8 torx screw * 10 pcs.)

Step 3

Unplug the cable of the key switch.
(If your setup is different, please refer to the diagram to find the correct cable.)

Step 4

Remove the key switch by hammering the hex nut counterclockwise.
(In the demonstration, the T8 driver and a metal cup are used.)

Step 5

Install the new key switch. Make sure the red dot is at the top and tighten the nut by using the same method in the previous step.

Step 6

Plug the cable into the mainboard.

Step 7

Reinstall the front metal cover. Ensure the Type-C cable's white dot is facing up, as in the video.
