Step 1
Turn off the machine, and remove the power cord.
Step 2
Remove the screws of the X-axis board. (T8 torx screw * 3 pcs.)
Step 3
Unplug the 28-Pin cable and the camera cable.
(Please note that there are two cables to be unplugged. They might be unplugged at the same time if you apply too much force, but it will be acceptable.)
Step 4
Disconnect the FPC cable from the X-axis board. The X-axis board can then be removed completely.
Step 5
Detach the air hose from the top of the laser head.
Step 6
Remove these four screws.
Step 7
Unplug the Z-axis motor cable (4-pin).
Step 8
Detach the camera cable (Small golden flat cable). Note that the lock on the cable slot must be opened.
Step 9
Detach the X-axis 34-pin flat cable. Note that the lock on the cable slot must be opened.
Step 10
Remove the cable completely from the machine. (There is tape underneath the cable.)
Step 11
Prepare a 15cm double-sided tape and apply it to the X-axis surface, near the left screw hole, as shown in the video.
Step 12
Connect the new 34-pin cable to the X-axis board.
Make sure that the side of the blue head with text will be the one to insert into the X-axis board.
Step 13
Plug the 28-pin cable and the camera cable into the X-axis board.
(Please ensure that the 28-pin cable is securely plugged into the X-axis board.)
Step 14
Screw the three T8 screws to fix the X-axis board.
Step 15
Apply the double-sided tape. Slowly and naturally place the cable onto the tape as in the video.
(The cable does not have to be pulled tight while being placed on the tape.)
Step 16
Insert the X-axis 34-pin flat cable. Make sure the lock on the cable slot is securely locked.
Before you inster the cable, ensure the air hose is above the cable as in the video.
Step 17
Insert the camera cable (Small golden flat cable). Make sure the lock on the cable slot is securely locked.
Step 18
Plug the Z-axis motor cable (4-pin) into the board.
Step 19
Fix the board with the four T8 torx screws.
Step 20
Reconnect the air hose to the laser head.
Step 21 (Optional)
If the air hose is not above the cable, here is a way to change the position of the air hose.
However, the hard part is attaching the L-shaped pipe to the cut air hose; it will take some time.
(Please use 2x ~ 4x speed.)
