Non-ideal Printing Results-
Bleeding
The ink seeps into surface gaps, resulting in blurred or rough edges.
Solutions:
1. Adjust Ink Saturation
Reduce the Saturation to decrease the strength of ink spraying.
See the references below.
2. Apply Gesso
Clear gesso available from craft stores can help to fill the gaps in porous materials.
See the references below.
3. Adjust Multipass
If blurry or rough edges persist despite applying Clear Gesso, consider reducing the "Multipasses" number.
⚠️ Adjusting the Multipasses number might lead to visible stripes.
Not Recommended Materials-
Rough-textured/surface wood, like raw wood. Due to its untreated surface, it exhibits more gaps and irregularities, theoretically leading to less desirable printing results.
Fogging
Usually, paper tends to cause less blurry/rough edges than wood, although occasional crumbly/grainy occurrences may still happen.
Standard A4 paper, envelopes, parchment paper, cardboard, and similar materials will all be good with Ador.
Solutions:
1. Ensure precise alignment of the printer head; inadequate distance, whether too close or too far, will result in uneven ink spraying.
How to align the printer head and the material
2. If the crumbly or grainy issue persists even after precise alignment, consider slightly reducing the distance. A greater distance results in a larger spraying area, increasing the likelihood of dislocated spraying and the occurrence of crumbly or grainy results.
Press the button to manually reduce the distance.
See the references below.
3. Reduce the Saturation to decrease the strength of ink spraying.
See the references below.
4. Adjust Multi-pass Count
The Multi-pass feature uses multiple nozzles to print at the same line, preventing a line from not being printed at all.
⚠️ Adjusting the Multipasses number might lead to visible stripes.
Do not use:
Striped cardboard:
Wrinkly paper:
Curved paper:
Banding
Solutions:
1. Clean the Printhead: Clean the printhead with lint-free wipes sprayed with alcohol(above 99% recommended).
⚠️ Please note the cleaning direction, which should be in one direction; do not wipe back and forth.
2. Adjust Multi-pass Count
The Multi-pass feature uses multiple nozzles to print at the same line, preventing a line from not being printed at all.
⚠️ Adjusting the Multipasses number might lead to visible stripes.
Color Accuracy
Solutions:
Use the latest Beam Studio to adjust the color ratio.
Positioning
Solutions:
1. Please process the Camera Calibration (10W/20W Diode Laser Module).
2. Please process the Printing Module Calibration.
