5A-4 How to Test the Ink Cartridge – FLUX Help Center

If you observe abnormal results or cannot print during the printing process, please refer to the article 'Non-ideal Printing Results/Misaligned Printing Result' for adjustments. If the issue persists, it might be due to ink cartridge abnormalities. Please follow the steps below for confirmation.

Step 1 - Download the Test File

Please use this link to download the file needed for testing.

Step 2 - Print the Test File

After installing the ink cartridge that you want to test, send the downloaded test file to Ador through the Beam Studio for printing.

Step 3 - Confirm the Test Results

1. Ideal Result - All lines are printed perfectly. 理想結果.jpg

2. Acceptable Result - All lines except the top and bottom two columns are printed perfectly.

3. Abnormal Result - Blank lines or incomplete printing.

Step 4 - Check the Ink Cartridge

4-1. Clean the printhead with lint-free wipes sprayed with alcohol(above 99% recommended). 清潔墨頭.gif
⚠︎ Please note the cleaning direction, which should be in one direction; do not wipe back and forth.

4-2.Ink Extraction: Hold the ink head upright and let it sit for two hours.
Prepare the ink extractor to remove the air from the ink cartridge until you see the ink flowing, then pause.

4-4 Check the Printhead

4-5. Repeat the test file from Step 2.

Check the second test result:

Ideal or acceptable >> Problem solved.

Still abnormal >> Step 5 - Contact Customer Service
