Step 1
Download the camera calibration data using Beam Studio.
⚠︎ If your machine cannot boot normally or connect to the computer, please contact customer service to get the data.
- Update Beam Studio to version 2.4.5 or above.
- Selecting the "Machine→Machine's Name→Camera Calibration Data→Download Data."
The file downloaded will be in .zip format and named after your machine's name.
For example, Beambox II (Timothy) .zip.
Step 2
Turn off the machine, and remove the power cord.
Step 3
Open the side cover to see the machine inside.

Use a Philips screwdriver to open the cover.
Step 4
- Unplug the Type-C cable and remove the four screws with a 2.5mm Allen key.
Step 5
Unplug the flat screens' cables and the WIFI antenna from the RK board.
(If your machine does not have the black WIFI wire, you can skip the wire part)
The RK board can then be removed completely.
Step 6
Plugging the cables and WIFI antenna into the new RK board.
(If your machine does not have the black WIFI wire, you can skip the wire part)
Step 7
Screw the new board and replug the USB-C cable.
Step 8
Close the side cover and tighten the screw.
Step 9
Turn on the machine.
Step 10
Run the Beam Studio version 2.4.5 or above and select the "Machine→Machine's Name→Camera Calibration Data→Upload Data→Choose the file downloaded in Step 1."
⚠︎ If you didn't download the data, the data is lost, or it is corrupted, please perform advanced camera calibration.
Step 11
Please calibrate the camera again to attain the correct preview.
