Step 1

Turn off the machine, and remove the power cord.

Step 2

Remove the four screws to detach the laser head from the X-axis slide. Make sure the washers or spacers on the screw are kept securely after removing the screws.

Step 3

Remove the screws that hold the X-axis linear slide.

Step 4

Install the new slide. Make sure the slide is not coming out of the rail.

Step 5

Reinstall the laser head on the X-axis.
