Step 1
Turn off the machine, and remove the power cord.
Step 2
Open the side cover to see the machine inside.
- Use a Philips screwdriver to open the cover.
Step 3
Unplug the Type-C cable.
Step 4
Unscrew the screws to remove the screen with the bracket.
Step 5
Remove the RK board from the bracket.
(If your machine does not have the black WIFI wire, you can skip the wire part.)
Step 6
Install the RK board on the new screen bracket.
(If your machine does not have the black WIFI wire, you can skip the wire part.)
Step 7
Install the screen bracket on the machine.
Step 8
Be sure to plug the USB-C cable into the RK board.
Step 9
Close the side cover and tighten the screw.
