Beambox II - Plotter Board Replacement

Step 1

Turn off the machine, and remove the power cord.

Step 2

Ensure the socket for the rotary is empty.

Step 3

Open the water pump cover with the Torx screwdriver to find the plotter board.
(The board might be black or green.)

Step 4

Take photos of the entire plotter board setup.
The purpose is to prevent you from forgetting where all the cables go when installing the new one.
(If you forget where the cable should go, please refer to the diagram for the latest setup. Do not use the photos below, as the board's version may vary.)

Step 5

Unplug all the cables on the board.

Step 5

Unscrew these screws with a 2.5mm Allen key to remove the board.

Step 6

• Install the new plotter board starting with the top-left screw.

• If you find it hard to hold the screw with the Allen key, you can use a piece of tape to fix it on the key. This could make it easier.
  
  
  
• Once the top-left screw is tightened, adjust the position to match the screw holes.
  
  
  
• Start screwing the middle and the top-right screws.
  
  

Step 7

Replug all the cables on the new board.

Step 8

Install the plate.
