FLUX Delta Connection Setup

There are two ways to link FLUX Delta/Delta+ to your computer. 1. Connect the Machine via USB, 2. Connect the Machine via WIFI.

This tutorial will guide you through the process.

• Connect the Machine via USB
  Step 1. Please make sure the FLUX USB cable is plugged into the machine and your computer properly. Please setup the machine by the fallowing path.
  
  Machines -> Machine Setup -> Connect the Machine via USB

  Step 2. As figure 2, you can set the name and the password of you machine here. This will be the name of your machine after this. You can always reset the name and password via this procedure.

  Step 3. As figure 3, You can connect the machine to the WIFI you normally uses so that you can still have access to internet when using the machine. Please note that if you choose “Create Network”, you set your machine as WIFI station, you can’t gain access to internet!

• Connect the Machine via WIFI
  • If you’re using the machine for the first time, the machine will set automatically to AP mode under factory settings. Please click the list of WIFI on your computer, choose “FLUX Delta[random numbers and alphabets]”, the password is “flux-delta” or the serial number of the machine.
    
                        
    
    Please connect your computer to this WIFI and setup your machine by the fallowing path.
    
    Machines -> Machine Setup -> Connect the Machine via WIFI
    
    
    
    Choose your FLUX Delta/Delta+, fallow Step 2. and Step 3. mentioned above.
    
    As figure 5, please check the WIFI indicator on your machine as the software instructed. After checking the indicator, click Restart FLUX Studio.

  • If your machine has already connected to any WIFI and there are changes needed to be made, please setup the machine by the fallowing path.
    
    Machines -> Machine Setup -> Connect the Machine via WIFI
    
    Choose your FLUX Delta/Delta+, fallow Step 2. and Step 3. mentioned above. Please make sure that you and your machine is under the same WIFI.
    
    As figure 5, please check the WIFI indicator on your machine as the software instructed. After checking the indicator, click Restart FLUX Studio.

• PLEASE NOTE 
  Wi-Fi setting and troubleshooting:
  • Make sure your router doesn't block connection between LAN and WLAN, and your FLUX Delta+ and laptop is connected to the same router. 
  • FLUX Delta+ only supports 2.4 Ghz Wi-Fi.
  • The encryption of the router is recommended to be WPA2-PSK or WPA2-PSK/WPA-PSK Mixed.
  • The distance between the router and your FLUX Delta+ should be within 5 meters (16 ft.)
  • Old routers (more than 8 years) might not work.
  • If the software couldn't find the network, please go to this link; if the network doesn't connect, please go to this link. 
  • If you see "Cannot detect FLUX Delta+ through Wi-Fi", please go to this troubleshooting.
