Step 1
Turn off the machine, and remove the power cord.
Step 2
- Open the door cover to unscrew these secrets. (2.5mm hex x 2pcs)

- The auto-focus sensor assembly can then be unmounted from the system.
Please keep the screws securely for later use.
Step 3
Unplug the cables on the board.
Note: If you only need to replace the aufo-focue probe, please directly skip to Step 5.
Step 4
Snip off the cable ties if there are any.
Step 5
Unplug the cable on the board.
Step 6
Unscrew the screws to remove the board and the probe.
Note: If you only need to replace the cable, please directly skip to Step 9.
Step 7
Install the new board and probe.
Please ensure the order and direction are correct, as in the photos below.
- The stick will be put inside the cover.
- The probe and the cover will be put on the board like this.
- Fix the assembly on the plate.
Step 8
Check if the probe has been installed correctly.
Press the probe with your finger. The probe should be able to push itself up, as in the video.
(If your probe does not push up, please redo Step 7.)
Step 9
Replug the cable or plug in the new cable.
Step 10
Ensure the cable on the board is well-connected.
Step 11
Insert the two shafts of the auto-focus sensor assembly into the openings underneath the laser head assembly. (Make sure the handle is on the right side.)
Step 12
Fix the auto-focus sensor assembly with its top plate.
