Feature Overview
Use this calibration when your Print and Cut result is shifted, or the cutting position doesn't match the original design.
Step 1
Update the software, Beam Studio, to 2.7.1 or later.
Step 2
In Document Settings, set the "Start Position" to "Origin".
Step 3
First, perform basic camera calibration for your machine model, then follow the steps to complete the process. (Machines >> Machine Name >> Calibrate Camera)
Step 4
After camera calibration, select Print and Cut Calibration.
(Machines >> Machine Name >> Calibration >> Calibrate Print and Cut)
Step 5
Follow the software steps to export and save the PDF scale file for calibration.
Print this file and make sure to print the sheet at "100% scale" or "Actual Size".
Step 6
Place the printed sheet in the center of the machine's work area and use tape to secure it to the honeycomb.
Perform focus on the sheet.
Step 7
Take a photo using the camera preview and adjust the brightness to ensure the 4 black dots are visible.
Step 8
Go back to the software and continue the process.
Set the power to 3~5%. 3% is suggested for the first time. Raise it if the laser does not fire at 3%.

Step 9
Check the result.
For the example in the video above, find the longest line and note its value.
The X-axis line is around "0.9", and the Y-axis line is also around "0.5".
The values are less than 1, so the software may auto-add up to 1.
Enter the values, then click "Save". The calibration will be finished.
