Description:
Since the laser beam's strength decreases over distance, the bottom-right corner of a HEXA machine may be affected significantly, resulting in cutting issues in that area.
Therefore, this function is designed to enhance the stability of cutting across the entire bed.
When to Adjust?
Having problems cutting or engraving in the bottom-right area of the bed.
Bottom Right Decay Compensate:
Step 1
This function is only available in firmware version 4.0.24 or above. (Where to download?)
Step 2
After updating the firmware, it can be found on the panel.
(Machine >> Hardware Setting >> Next page >> Bottom-right Decay Compensate)
Step 3
By enabling this function, the machine will gradually reduce the speed set in Beam Studio during tasks. As the laser head approaches the bottom-right corner, the machine will slow down even further, up to the setting chosen by the user.
Step 4
The adjustable range for this function in the setting is from 0.00 to 0.75, where 0.00 indicates that the function is disabled.
0.00 = Reduce the speed by 0%
0.30 = Reduce the speed by 30%
0.50 = Reduce the speed by 50%
0.75 = Reduce the speed by 75%
….etc
Example:
A task is set as 10mm/s for the speed in Beam Studio and the Compensate is set as 0.50 on the panel of the machine.
Beam Studio:
Compensate:
When the laser head approaches the bottom-right spot, the speed will be reduced by 50% so that the speed will become 5mm/s.
(10mm/s - (10mm/s * 0.5) = 5mm/s)
