Before unboxing, please make sure to read the safety regulations. This tutorial will provide you with a simple guide to assembling and operating your machine, which will be divided into four parts. (This article is about unboxing the 20W diode laser module)

A. Assembly and Start-up.
1. What's in the box?
1-1 Unseal the box, and take out the User manual, Gift card, and Cable Pack.
1-2 Open the cover, take out the accessory pack, and check the items inside.
2. Assembly:
1. Loosentheclampontheexhaustfancover using a Phillips screwdriver and remove the cover.
2. Remove the cushioning material in the vent hose.
3. Insert the clamp on the large end of the vent hose hole and attach it to the exhaust fan outlet at the rear of the machine.
4. Adjust the clamp tightness and fasten it onto the exhaust fan outlet.
5. Set the vent hose open-end outside the window or connect it to an air purifier.
1. Loosen the hand screw "A" on the module adapter "B."
2. Aim the dot "C" on the laser module to the unlock icon "D" on the module adapter and insert it down to the lock icon.
3. Fasten the hand screws "A" back to the module adapter.
3. Setup for the First Use:
3-2. Read the Safety Precautions carefully.
3-3. Follow the instructions and run the Start-up Test. Be sure to complete the Start-up Test if the machine is first time use.
3-4. Following the step-by-step instructions, the Start-up Test will guide you through installing the laser module and checking the door interlocks, autofocus, motors, limit switches, and module connection.
3-5. Follow the guide on the machine display to set the WiFi connection (2.4 GHz), or connect with an ethernet cable to your router and select connect later.

B. Software Download.
Download and install the latest version of Beam Studio on your computer. After installation is complete, launch Beam Studio and follow the software instructions to choose your language and configure machine connectivity settings.

C. Add New Machine and Connection Settings
After downloading and launching Beam Studio, Please follow the software guidance to select language and machine connection settings.
1. Add New Machine
a. First Time installing Beam Studio's User
a-1. Select Language
a-2. Register / Login FLUX ID (Users without Internet access can click below Work Offline to skip this step.)
b. Already Installed Beam Studio's User
b-1. Menu bar => Machines => Machine Setup
2. Select Wi-Fi (Different connection setup: 2-5 Connection Settings)
3. Go to the touch screen on the machine and record the machine connecting IP. (Machine >> Network >> IP Address)
4. Enter the machine connection IP to Beam Studio.
5. Click the "Next" button, and the connection will be successful.
If the connection failed, please refer to the Connection Troubleshooting.

D. Start Engraving
Different Module Instructions:
10W / 20W Diode Laser Module Installation
Printing Module Installation
2W Infrared Laser Module Installation
1. Focusing: Place the material inside the machine and move the laser head above the material. Then, click the focus button on the left side of the machine twice or long-press the "AF" button on the machine panel until the laser head starts moving. When the laser head touches the material and moves upward, the focusing is complete. Ensure that the focus distance is correct before each engraving.

2. Import the engraving test file: Click on "Menu"> "File"> "Examples"> "Example of Ador Laser."
3. Select the current module:20W Diode Laser / 10W Diode Laser.
4. Preview the engraving position: Click on the camera symbol in the top left corner.
Note: Before starting the preview, please ensure that the camera calibration has been performed (10W/20W Diode Laser Module).
If using the printing module, refer to Ador - Printing Module Calibration.
If using the 2W Infrared Laser Module, refer to Ador - 2W Red Laser Module Calibration.
5. Send the job: Exit the camera preview mode, drag and drop the image to the desired engraving location, and press the arrow button to send the file.
6. Engraving result.
If the engraving result is blurry, unclear, or light in color, please check if the laser head is focused accurately.
If correct, please check the material suitability/parameters / cleaning the laser head, and find the troubleshooting here- Bad Engraving or Cutting Result (10W/20W Diode Laser Module)
