Description
The machine also can connect the beamo / Beambox / Beambox Pro and the PC directly with a network cable.
This method works under Windows Environment. For Mac Users, please check here.
You must purchase an Ethernet USB adapter if your PC/Laptop doesn't have Ethernet ports.
Step 0 - Unplug the Cable
Please unplug the ethernet cable from the laser machine or leave it unconnected before going to the next step.
Step 1 - Change Adaptor Setting
Right-click on the Network Icon at the bottom right of your Windows and select the Open Network & Internet settings.
Click "Change adapter settings".
Step 2 - Select Current Using Network
In the Network Connections window, you may notice multiple networks listed.
Usually, you may have "Local Area Connection", " Ethernet," or "Wi-Fi," one of which you are using to connect to the Internet.
If you are using Wi-Fi as the computer's Internet connection, you will have a "Wi-Fi" or "WLAN" icon.
Right-click on the regular network (The one that has the ability to connect to the internet), and click Properties.
(*Selecting the wrong network to share may result in connection failure and getting an incorrect IP address like 169.254.XXX.XXX )
Step 3 - Confirm if you have the "Home networking connection" Option
In the Properties window, switch to the sharing tab, and check if you have the "Home networking connection" option.

Step 4 - Connect the Ethernet Cable
Connect the beamo / Beambox / Beambox Pro with an ethernet cable to your computer and go to Step 4.1 -Select the Current Using Internet on Network Connection Page.

Enter the Network Connection page again, and some other Network icons will appear. (see the photo below)
You will have a "Wi-Fi" or "WLAN" icon if you use Wi-Fi as the computer connection.
A new Unidentified Network (Ethernet) will connect to the beamo / Beambox / Beambox Pro. (No need to set this icon)
Right-click on the regular network (Normally will be "Wi-Fi" or Ethernet), click Properties and go to Step 4.2 - Share Private Network Connection.

Step 4.2 - Share Private Network Connection
In the Properties window, switch to the sharing tab, select "Ethernet," and press "OK" to finish the setting.

Step 4.3 - Select the Other Options on the List
If "Ethernet" is not on the list, please check the screenshot in Step 3 and select the option that did not exist. Then click "OK" and go to Step 4.4—Check if the machine has a New Wired Network IP.

Go to the machine touch panel and enter the Network page. Wait 30 seconds and check if the machine has the new Wired Network IP.

Step 4.5 - Select Other Private Network
Go to the Properties window, and switch to the sharing tab. Unclick the two sharing options and press "OK" first.
Then go to the sharing tab again, select two sharing options, and select one connection you haven't selected in the private connection list. Press "OK" and go to Step 4.6 - Make Sure the Machine has New Wired Network IP.

Unplug the Ethernet and replug it after 30 seconds.
Please go to the Network page on the touch panel and wait 30 seconds. Then make sure the machine has the new wired network IP.

Step 5 - Connect the Ethernet Cable
Connect the beamo / Beambox / Beambox Pro with an ethernet cable to your computer.

Step 6 - Run the Beam Studio as Administrator
Right-click on the Beam Studio icon and select "Run as Administrator". Then press "Yes" to run the application.
If you do not have this option, skip this step and proceed to Step 7—Connect the Machine with Beam Studio。
Step 7 - Connect the Machine with Beam Studio
In the Beam Studio, click Menu > Machines > Machine Setup > Direct Connection, and enter the Ethernet IP shown on the Network page on the touch panel instead of using Wireless IP.
Click Next, and the software will check the IP availability. The machine should appear on the list in a minute (sometimes requiring restarting Beam Studio).
**If you still cannot connect the machine, the issue may be related to the hardware. Please try the following solutions:
-Wired Connection with Router
-Connect the Local Reseller or[ FLUX Customer Service ]。
