The machine also can connect the beamo / Beambox / Beambox Pro and the PC directly with a network cable.

If your PC/Laptop doesn't have Ethernet ports, you can purchase an Ethernet USB adapter on Amazon.

Step 1 - Change Adaptor Setting:
Please do not connect the ethernet to the machine in the step.
Right-click on the Network Icon at the bottom right of your Windows and select the Open Network & Internet settings.
Click "Change adapter settings".

Step 2 - Select Current Using Network:
In the Network Connections window, you may notice multiple networks listed.
Usually, you may have "Local Area Connection", " Ethernet," or "Wi-Fi," one of which you are using to connect to the Internet.
If you are using Wi-Fi as the computer's Internet connection, you will have a "Wi-Fi" or "WLAN" icon.
Right-click on the regular using network (The one that has the ability to connect to the internet), and click Properties.
(*Selecting the wrong network to share may result in connection failure and getting an incorrect IP address like 169.254.XXX.XXX )

Step 3 - Confirm if you have the "Home networking connection" Option:
In the Properties window, switch to the sharing tab, and check if you have the "Home networking connection" option.
- If yes, please click two sharing options, click "Select a private network connection", and take a photo or screenshot. Then click "OK" and go to Step 4 - Connect the Ethernet cable.
- If no, click "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection" and "Allow other network users to control or disable the shared Internet connection". Then click "OK" and go to Step 5 - Connect the Ethernet Cable.

Step 4 - Connect the Ethernet Cable:
Connect the beamo / Beambox / Beambox Pro with an ethernet cable to your computer and go to Step 4.1 -Select the Current Using Internet on Network Connection Page.

Step 4.1 - Select the Current Using Internet in Network Connection Page:
Enter the Network Connection page again, and some other Network icons will appear. (see the photo below)
You will have a "Wi-Fi" or "WLAN" icon if you use Wi-Fi as the computer connection.
A new Unidentified Network (Ethernet) will connect to the beamo / Beambox / Beambox Pro. (No need to set this icon)
Right-click on the regular network (Normally will be "Wi-Fi" or Ethernet), click Properties and go to Step 4.2 - Share Private Network Connection.
(*Selecting the wrong network to share may result in connection failure and getting an incorrect IP address like 169.254.XXX.XXX )

Step 4.2 - Share Private Network Connection:
In the Properties window, switch to the sharing tab.
Determine your result and the next action to take:
- If your computer has "Ethernet" on the list, please select "Ethernet" and click "OK". Then go to Step 4.4 - Check if the machine has New Wired Network IP.
After finishing the setting, there is a "shared" in the description.
- If there is no "Ethernet" in the list, please go to Step 4.3 - Select the Other Options on the List。

Step 4.3 - Select the Other Options on the List:
If there is no "Ethernet" in the list, please check the screenshot in Step 3 and select the option which did not exist. Then click "OK" and go to Step 4.4 - Check if the machine has New Wired Network IP.

Step 4.4 - Check if the machine has New Wired Network IP:
Go to the machine touch panel and enter the Network page. Wait 30 seconds and check if the machine has the new Wired Network IP.
Determine your result and the next action to take:
- If the IP starts with 192.168, please go to Step 6 - Run the Beam Studio as Administrator.
- If the IP starts with 169.254 or no IP, and there are still other options that you did not try, please go to Step 4.5 - Select Other Private Network.

Step 4.5 - Select Other Private Network:
Go to the Properties window, and switch to the sharing tab. Unclick the two sharing options and press "OK" first.
Then go to the sharing tab again, select two sharing options, and select one connection you haven't selected in the private connection list. Press "OK" and go to Step 4.6 - Make Sure the Machine has New Wired Network IP.

Step 4.6 - Make Sure the Machine has New Wired Network IP:
Unplug the Ethernet and replug it after 30 seconds.
Please go to the Network page on the touch panel and wait 30 seconds. Then make sure the machine has the new wired network IP.
Determine your result and the next action to take:
- If the IP starts with 192.168, please go to Step 6 - Run the Beam Studio as Administrator.
- If the IP starts with 169.254 or no IP, and there are still other options that you did not try, please go to Step 4.5 - Select Other Private Network.
- If you have tried all Home Network Connection options, it means the issue may be related to the hardware. Please try the following solutions:
-Wired Connection with Router
-Connect the Local Reseller or[ FLUX Customer Service ]。

Step 5 - Connect the Ethernet Cable:
Connect the beamo / Beambox / Beambox Pro with an ethernet cable to your computer.
Go to the Network page on the touch panel and wait 30 seconds. Then make sure the machine has the new wired network IP.
Determine your result and the next action to take:
- If the IP starts with 192.168, please go to Step 6 - Run the Beam Studio as Administrator.
- If the IP starts with 169.254 or no IP, please go back to Step2-3 and ensure that you are sharing the Internet which you are using.
- If the IP starts with 169.254 or no IP, and there are still other options that you did not try, Please try the following solutions:
-Wired Connection with Router
-Connect the Local Reseller or[ FLUX Customer Service ]。

Step 6 - Run the Beam Studio as Administrator:
Right-click on the Beam Studio icon and select "Run as Administrator". Then press "Yes" to run the application.
If you do not have this option, you can skip this step and go to Step 7 - Connect the Machine with Beam Studio。

Step 7 - Connect the Machine with Beam Studio:
In the Beam Studio, click Menu > Machines > Machine Setup > Direct Connection, and enter the Ethernet IP shown on the Network page on the touch panel instead of using Wireless IP.
Click Next, and the software will check the IP availability. Then, the machine should appear on the list in a minute (sometimes requires restarting Beam Studio).
**If you still cannot connect the machine, the issue may be related to the hardware. Please try the following solutions:
-Wired Connection with Router
-Connect the Local Reseller or[ FLUX Customer Service ]。
